Prior to the filler treatment The Hague treatment, you have an intake interview at our cosmetic clinic in The Hague to discuss your concerns and wishes, this conversation is completely free of charge. The doctor first cleans the area to be treated and may use a local anesthetic or numbing cream to make the area less sensitive.
The filler is then injected into the affected area(s) using a very fine needle. The number of injections required depends on which filler treatment you are undergoing and what is needed to achieve the desired result. A treatment at our cosmetic clinic usually takes 20 minutes to an hour.
After placing the fillers, our doctor will give you information about what you can expect in the hours and days after the treatment. This depends on the type of treatment. You may experience some redness, swelling or very temporary pain in the treated area. In the vast majority of cases, this is completely harmless and disappears within 24 to 48 hours. RECOVERY PERIOD AND RESULT You can usually resume your normal activities immediately after the treatment. After the treatments, it will be discussed for each specific treatment(s) what you may and may not do. In any case, you should not sleep or lie down during the first hours after the treatment. Do not massage the treated area. We also advise against (intensive) sports or visiting the sauna during the first few days. It is best not to sunbathe or use a sunbed during the first week after the treatment.
How long the result of the hyaluronic acid treatment is visible depends on the brand and type of filler and the location where it is applied. You can count on a visible result of nine to twelve months. A collagen stimulating filler gives results for at least 24 months.

POSSIBLE COMPILACTIONS AND HOW WE DEAL WITH THEM At Beauty Clinic We work with safe fillers, which minimizes the risk of complications. Still, complications can arise. This can cause a bump, or in the worst case an infection or allergic reaction. Bubbles can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. You can of course always contact us with (questions about) complications.
